🐴 Grounded Horsewoman Day — Cowgirl Retreat 📅 Saturday 24 October 2026 | 9am–6pm 📍 Irishtown WA | $300 per person The final Cowgirl Retreat for 2026 is a practical, confidence-building day for women who want to understand horses more deeply, strengthen their horsemanship and explore the connection between what happens within us and what the horse feels from us. This is not a traditional riding clinic and it is not a therapy workshop. It is a grounded, hands-on horsemanship experience where self-awareness, energy, intention, emotional regulation and clear communication are woven naturally into the way we work with horses. 🌿 Throughout the day we will work with Mystic, Flicka, Saffron and Cookie. Participants take turns one at a time while the group observes, learns and supports each other. ✨ You will experience: 🐴 Meeting and reading the horses 🤠 Grooming, saddling, tack and everyday care 🪢 Foundational groundwork and horsemanship 🌱 Leading, yielding, body language and clear cues 🐎 Walk, trot, poles, cones and simple ridden patterns 💫 Learning how your energy, tension, confidence and intention affect the horse 💛 Building calm, clear communication and genuine partnership The focus is not on rushing or performing. It is on slowing down enough to notice what the horse is telling you, understanding what is happening in your own body, and learning how to become clearer, calmer and more confident in your approach. ☕ The day includes morning tea and damper on arrival, a country BBQ lunch, an afternoon break and a relaxed sunset sundowner and reflection from 5–6pm. 🔥🌅 No horse or riding experience is required. Beginners and women rebuilding confidence are warmly welcomed.
