🤠 COWGIRL RETREAT 24th & 25th October🌵 Full 2-Day Cowgirl Weekend — $540 Cowgirl Weekend Retreat – Grounded Horsewoman Saturday 24 & Sunday 25 October 2026 | 9am–6pm daily Irishtown WA | Near Northam Turn one Cowgirl day into an entire weekend of horses, horsemanship, reflection and connection. The Grounded Horsewoman Weekend is a two-day practical experience designed for women who want more time to slow down, build confidence and develop a deeper understanding of both the horse and themselves. Rather than rushing through activities, we work progressively across the weekend — beginning with connection, groundwork, grooming, handling, saddling and foundational horsemanship, then allowing Sunday to build on what you discovered on Saturday. Our approach is reflective and relationship-based. Horses respond to our timing, energy, tension, clarity, confidence and emotional state. When something isn’t working, we don’t simply blame the horse or push harder. We become curious. What might the horse be responding to? What are we communicating? Are we tense, hesitant or unclear? What does the horse need from us to feel more confident? And what can that interaction teach us about ourselves? As a counsellor, psychotherapist and lifelong horsewoman, Carmody brings an awareness of confidence, emotional regulation, nervous-system responses and self-awareness into the horsemanship experience. This is not a formal therapy retreat, but it is horsemanship with depth.
