Be a part of a NEW, unique form of Therapy. It is highly effective for people with many forms of disabilities such as Autism (ASD), Asperger’s (low to high functioning), Downs Syndrome, ADHD, SCT & OCD. Derived from Equine Assisted Therapy, Psychodrama and Psychotherapy. EKE’s EDT model of therapy is a playful way to tap into a person’s subconscious to deal with issues they may have in their life. It can be done in pairs to large groups. An ideal group is 4-6 people. It involves story telling, improvisation drama, creative play, art, music and finishes each session with a drama role play that is metaphor based. Benefits include building on leadership skills, co-operation, self awareness, self-esteem, self confidence, addressing and processing stress and finding solutions that work for the individuals issues they want to work on. Suited to families, groups, couples or friends seeking a fun way to do therapy that still achieves outcomes. You must be joining a group of 4-6 people to undertake this program to pay this reduced rate. EKE created this model which is derived from Equine Assisted Therapy & Learning with the added touch of Psychodrama. To get the best experience from this we require 4-6 people to come together for running these sessions. We can split groups into pairs or three's if needed to suit an individuals needs. *NDIS participants welcome. PLEASE NOTE: It is a flat rate of $75pp per hr. $90pp per hr for including travel to local locations (Northam / Toodyay townships) for organisations. Event rate is $350 for every 2 hours, further out $1 p/km one way. For all sessions - 2 hr min booking required. Pay online per person or contact us for invoicing / alternative payment options.
